Mirgik

Level 4

Mirgiks are a type of demon, manifesting when they sense a moment of extreme vulnerability in an individual. The mirgik will lay a curse on the individual that manifested it, causing the individual to begin getting irrationally angry, feeding the mirgik as this feeling is escalated more and more until a breaking point is reached, and their victim reaches a breaking point. Unless stopped, the mirgik will move on to its next victim.

The Mirgik as a fight is largely straight forward - each turn, it will use Eye of Ire in an attempt to whittle the enemies down while moving around and attacking for itself with Cleave.

That's it. That's the fight. You can wind up in a massive cascading effect from Eye of Ire, so just keep an eye on the battlefield to make sure the fight doesn't feel frustrating for your players.

Mirgiks tend to be very quiet. While they actively have an individual cursed, it's in their best interest to remain hidden until it's completed.

Once found and confronted, the mirgik is hyper aggressive, and lets loose  a consistent stream of angered yelps. The second there is no one aggressively approaching the mirgik, it will flee and hide. It needs to assume anonymity again so it can curse yet another.

Mirgiks can manifest off of any type of vulnerability - physical, mental, or emotional. Outside of being manifested onto the material plane, not much is known about the origins of mirgiks.

When investigating the mirgik, an off-putting track works well. Seeking Resonance from Witcher 3 is an excellent choice for this.

When full combat breaks out, something in the vein of classic sounding combat music is ideal - the Price of Power: Upbringing high action track from Gwent is an excellent option for this.
