Dread Admiral Mokrush, a brutal pirate sailing the seas and raiding coastal towns, is a terror that needs to be stopped. The crew of his ship, The Pilgrimage - a red-sailed galleon with a vast history, are devout only to him, and follow his every word.
Mokrush's fight hosts a number of variables, that should prove to be chaotic and intense.
At the start of each turn, Mokrush can alter what he is firing from his cannon, adding different effects depending on what is going on. Use Pitch to litter the battlefield with fire, which the Crew of the Pilgrimage can utilize with their Buckle attack.
Flashbang and Shrapnel can also come in handy, providing other ways to control the fight. Bear in mind that Mokrush can attack nearly anyone with "This Is My Ship". If you want to spice up the fight a little more, give him multiple reactions per round as well.
Mokrush cares about one thing primarily: fighting. He'll do whatever he can to ensure fights break out with anyone he deems even remotely a challenge. He'll raid any town he comes across, regardless of size, and make sure they understand he'll be back.
Mokrush is brash, and thinks the world of himself. He thinks he's the best that has ever been around, and the fact that he hasn't lost yet only feeds that.
The Crew of the Pilgrimage shares Mokrush's view of himself, and think the world of him. They'll talk him up if asked, and will hang on to his every word - almost as if under the effects of a charm spell. But, they are not. Simply awestruck.
While Mokrush himself has a long history of violence and strong opponents felled by his hand, the history of the Pilgrimage is just as interesting.
The Pilgrimage is a galleon that has seen many a captain, and Mokrush is simply the latest. Originally owned by a kingdom's navy, the Pilgrimage was taken over my a crew of pirates a long time ago. Since then, it's been taken over by repeatedly when the old captain's power diminishes. A mutiny breaks out, and a new captain comes forth with a chip on their shoulder, ready to prove themselves.
Mokrush has been in control of the Pilgrimage for the past 12 years, having usurped Dread Admiral Langen, a grizzled human who was well known for her quick and efficient ship-to-ship raids. For the duration of Langen being in charge of the Pilgrimage, it was commonplace for ships to hire small armies to combat her raids.
While he does strive for as much combat as possible, interactions with Mokrush should feel tense and mysterious. He has a reputation, and you don't know when he's going to live up to it. Kell Rising from Destiny: The Taken King hits that vibe perfectly.
When full combat breaks out, an intense, but overall fun sounding track should hit the spot well. Riches and Glory from Gwent will do the trick for you!
